Our Story

What could make two sunshine-loving Florida residents move back to their hometown in Indiana year-round? Grandkids, family, and friends of course!

We’re Clif and Diana Crockett, owners of Specialized Services of Northeast Indiana. Our professional story began when Clif was offered a position with a high-end builder in Naples, Florida more than a decade ago. We said goodbye to family and friends and headed south to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. While working on exclusive luxury properties in Naples, only the highest standard of quality would do. Clif was fortunate to work with others who were the best in their field, which assisted Clif in elevating his skills and expertise in a variety of trades. Eventually we started our own business, focusing on renovation projects. Word traveled fast, and soon we were blessed to have a full schedule and a long list of valued clients.

While we enjoyed Florida and our business was thriving, we still missed our family and life-long friends back in Indiana and visited as often as possible. But then, the grandkids came! Suddenly, visits weren’t enough. We wanted to be part of their everyday lives. After much discussion and planning, we made the choice to move back to Indiana and re-start our business here. Every time we get an impromptu babysitting request or get to catch up over dinner with an old friend, we know we made the right decision.

As the saying goes, it wasn’t “goodbye”, it was simply “see you later”. And we’re so happy to be back home.
